Hai Phong, March 18, 2026 – Vietnam Steel Structures and Lifting Equipment Joint Stock Company (VINALIFT) and the College of Tourism and Industry Trade (CTIT) officially signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This event focuses on creating an in-depth practical training environment, enabling students in mechanical engineering and lifting equipment to directly access modern production lines, thereby enhancing their skills and preparing them for real-world enterprise environments.
The event was attended by Mr. Tran Van Tuan – Chairman of the Board and CEO of VINALIFT, and Mr. Duong Trung Kien – Rector of the college. This is considered a strategic step to bridge the gap between theoretical training and practical heavy industry production in Vietnam.

Demand-driven training: “VINALIFT Class” and job placement commitment
The core of the agreement is a specialized training program tailored to actual enterprise needs. Both parties will collaborate to develop key disciplines such as: Steel structure mechanical fabrication, Crane structure welding, Assembly and electrical control systems for lifting equipment
Key highlights of the cooperation include:
-
“VINALIFT Class” specialized program: Students will follow a jointly developed curriculum and be prioritized for recruitment upon graduation.
-
Paid internships: 2nd and 3rd-year students will directly participate in production at VINALIFT’s factory for 3–6 months under the guidance of experienced engineers (mentors), with appropriate internship allowances.
-
Recruitment commitment: VINALIFT plans to prioritize hiring 30–50 qualified students annually.
Knowledge Integration and Technical Advancement
VINALIFT will support the college by sending experienced engineers to directly teach specialized topics such as lifting safety, equipment operation, and maintenance. At the same time, the company will consider supporting the establishment of a “VINALIFT Lifting Equipment Practice Center” at the college, equipped with modern crane models, hoists, and control systems.

Statements from Leadership
Mr. Tran Van Tuan – CEO of VINALIFT:
“Our viewpoint is that all training collaborations must be practical and deliver measurable results. We will soon implement specific action plans along with flexible operational policies to turn these goals on paper into real value for both the enterprise and the college.”

Mr. Duong Trung Kien – Rector of CTIT:
“The college will proactively adjust training programs toward the principle of ‘learning by doing’ to ensure output standards while precisely meeting enterprise demands. Our ultimate goal is to help students secure stable employment while improving teaching quality and facilities in line with VINALIFT’s development.”

Towards a Sustainable Future
This signing event not only opens up optimal practical opportunities for students but also affirms VINALIFT’s commitment to supporting the vocational education system, contributing to the standardization of the workforce in Vietnam’s mechanical engineering industry.
